Day 7: Nostalgia - Playing F.L.A.M.E.S.

I was flipping through my work notebook when I accidentally saw the last page.

Sorry I had to blur the other name. Privacy issues.

REALLY?!?!?! People still play F.L.A.M.E.S. nowadays?!?!??

FLAMES is this match-making game popularized back in the 90's.  It works by writing down the name of the couple (or any two people) whom you wish to identify the relationship they are meant to have. You then cross-out the letters that each name has in common.  You count the remaining letters and use this number to count along the letters F, L, A, M, E, S (go back to F again if the number is more than 6). Depends on which letter you land, it means the following:

                                                                           F - Friends
                                                                           L - Lovers
                                                                           A - Affectionate
                                                                           M - Marriage
                                                                           E - Enemies
                                                                           S - Sex!!!

I wish it was this simple to determine your relationship with someone.  Then we would have had it all figured out at a young age of 13.
